Hanakini Swim was founded on many reasons that go well beyond just swimwear, giving back to our local communities and other initiatives near and far have been a priority in our growth. MANUFACTURING: We work with quality not quantity.

Our manufacture was chosen for more than just their quality of product - they have exceptional working conditions which far exceed minimum labor standards in business, production and sourcing practices. This is includes but is not limited to wages 3 times the standard in Bali, contracts and salaries, profit share, paid time off, annual bonuses, comprehensive health insurance, open door policy, and local fabric and hardware sourcing supporting other local businesses.

 

RECYCLED FABRICS: We use several types of eco-friendly high quality fabrics. Regenerated Italian fabric using CARVICO ECONYL yarn, REPREVE, and ECO-RIB all made from the highest quality fabrics derived from 100% regenerated materials. Pretty epic right!?

These regenerated materials are; plastic bottles, fishing nets, fabric scraps, industrial plastic from landfills and ocean plastic waste... Which is then transformed back into virgin raw material without any loss of quality. Also known as 'up-cycling'.

This helps to reduce the amount of global waste by collecting it from landfills and oceans, then feeding it back into production cycles.

 

THE WORKS: long lasting functional fabric: Our signature ECO-RIB has become a staple in our collections, due to its texture it has an immense amount of give and elasticity with a high luxe quality that will never loose shape. A fabric truly made to work with curves instead of against them.
